However, it is worth considering the cover when designing the pool, so that the technical connection between the pool, the cover and the tracks can be thought out in advance. It can depend on a difference of up to 1–2 cm whether a cover available in stock can be selected or whether custom-made production is required, which can mean a significant price difference.
From stock or custom size?
Custom size or faster warehouse solution
Aquacrom offers its own developed pool covers, which can be manufactured to individual sizes upon request. In addition, prefabricated products in series sizes are also available, which can be delivered from stock with a shorter lead time.
The latter solution may be beneficial for those who want faster construction, but are still looking for a system with a manufacturing background and specialized in pool coverings.

The operating principle of the cover is based on the greenhouse effect: incoming solar energy heats both the air under the cover and the pool water, while the cover slows down heat loss. A pool cover can improve the thermal balance of the pool by approximately 60%.
The cover also helps keep the pool clean, and it can also free the water from environmental contaminants, thus significantly reducing the need for cleaning and the use of chemicals.

Aquacrom pool enclosures are constructed from premium quality aluminum frame construction and polycarbonate sheets. According to the current product description, both cellular and solid, clear polycarbonate are equipped with UV protection on both sides, and the polycarbonate is covered by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
The range includes a variety of shapes and designs: from taller, curved solutions to low, angular, minimal designs. Most of the products are made of solid polycarbonate, but they can also be ordered in a cellular version.

What you should prepare for the request for quotation
For an accurate quote, the external dimensions of the pool are required. First, the external width of the pool must be determined, not the width of the water surface, but the largest width of the pool edge, measured at at least three points.
The second important piece of information is the external length of the pool, also measured at several points. It may also be necessary to determine the height of the pool rim, the direction and extent of the rail extension, and the location of the door.

- height of the pool edge, if it is higher than the receiving surface of the rail track
